I went somewhere very tall today. Afterwards I went to an art gallery & my best friend went kind of catatonic & then he woke up & he wrecked his Dad's Ferrari. (oh wait no I think that's a movie I like...)
@bkbinthecity@photographycrazy Thanks - there were a lot of cool views from up there but I liked the slightly off-kilter symmetry at work here. @kali66@linnypinny haha! Just me and my ridiculous pop-culture references at work again...! If you haven't already, you should probably go watch the entirety of Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Here's the bit I was referencing - https://youtu.be/D3FY6R0Kh0s?t=32 ;)
Haha -- when my daughter was about six years old I brought her to Chicago and took her to the Art Institute. We walked into the Impressionist area and she said, "Oh, I know this picture. I saw it on TV." Upon probing, I found that she had seen the movie at a friend's house (friends with teenage sister) on their TV. Nice view from up above! I just checked out your link and I didn't remember this scene. So I would have missed your reference except your description (wrecking Dad's car) transported me to the movie anyway.
