Thanks! There were better pics with the bird more visible but I really liked the way the lines and the movement were working together here.

LOVE this. The bird, the walking, the reflection, the lines, the sense of calm-- wait, Is this a PLOVER??? Be still, my heart - you can't fly to Japan.

I use Merlin ID to identify birds all the time, too. So useful for an interested but uninformed person like me :)
