Some consolation for all the stress involved with moving countries during a pandemic - somehow managed to blag my way into the JAL first class lounge, so had breakfast for a change.
I KNOW that Sakura lounge! They have sushi being made right in front of you super fresh. I don't think I've ever been there for breakfast though. Flights to the US leave in the evening. THAT is a huge amount of rice, and all those dishes are so enticing to me. That taiyaki for breakfast made me smile. I mean, where else but in Japan would you have something sweet shaped like a fish??
@linnypinny It was very good! @jyokota Taiyaki have always left me befuddled - such a strange disconnect between appearance and taste! This was great though.
