2021-06-16 Heebie Jeebies

The time was midnight - or at least quite near
When out of the darkness he did appear
With a sinister grin slashed across his face
He scared me so much I about screamed down the place
Said he in a whisper all close to my head
“Give me all your pink hair dye or you’re dead! DEAD!”
Fortunately I had some for my Granny had stayed
And death by troll was thus fortunately delayed
But I live in terror that he will one night return
And the next time not so peacefully adjourn…
