@tanagerjohn hahaha! no there's no Ste Corinne, we used to celebrate "the Corinne" with the "Eric", I've heard that "Corinne" come from "Korin" or "Corin", greek muse of poetry...) Merci beaucoup pour le gentil commentaire, c'est une occupation qui m'apaise...un travail de patience... :)
@lindseying thanks for the compliments ;) I studied law, but always dreamed, in a tiny corner of my mind, to do something with arts and creation....embroidery, sewing, cutting, drawing, .....one day may be .... ;)
I encourage you to do what makes you feel happy !!
@margonaut yes I first paint on a coton-canvas ( here just one color : turquoise) then I add my tinylittle stuff...making wavws of different colors... Thanks Margot :)
Corinne, somehow I missed this when you posted it, but I am TRULY impressed! I read all your comments, and it sounds as if you do this almost as meditation, and the results are fantastic! You must work on it for a while, and then put it aside until inspiration or the need to work on it arises again...it really does look like mosaic work....beautiful!
@panthora Oh thank you so much Osia, I do this for years now, and it is starting to invade every room of the house, a friend of mine asked me lately if I will sell some someday as she will be very interested .....I was sooooo faltered because as you said it started like a personal thing...and im so happy to have such good feedback...very flattering ;)
So completely awesome! I love this kind of stuff and you're so talented. I have a large box of paper that I've collected (most of it from Japan) that I use for similar types of projects. Once I had miniscule bits of paper that I used to cover an egg. I had to use tweezers and kinda drove myself crazy with that one :)
Bigger is better :) I'm working on a large piece right now and it's also driving me crazy, because while the piece is large, I'm still using tiny bits of things to fill it in. This one has bits of paper, beads and string. Fun and more fun. You should start selling your work, that will help with the storage problem!
@kamen088 i would love to see the result ! I use big canvas and stick paper cuts, glitters and add some dots everywhere... I can spend months on these canvas... I understand what you mean. My husband push me to sell it but I don't have the courage to face reaction of people, I consider it as minor hobby !.... May be one day....;)
