Golden moments...

Couldn't resist,......my small fir tree is just about to drop its needles and it looks so pretty. For a few days before it's shedding it's the most glorious riot of golds and dark brown cones, alas it's moment is very fleeting...

@swilde this one isn't an evergreen Sue, it drops it's needles every year and throws out wonderful baby cones and bright green fresh growth every year. It started out as a bush but has grown to about a 10ft small tree over the last eight years. It's such a pretty sight most of the year.
