My favourite fir tree, it's ancient and is my earliest memory as a child visiting my brothers grave picking up the fir cones and trying to take them home but my mother wouldn't let me as she thought it was bad luck as it stands in the cemetery where he is buried. It's funny what sticks in your mind here I am 60 odd years later still remembering her words! I still love the tree though.....
