Early heather by craftymeg

Early heather

The early heather is in full flower across the moor. This variety is much brighter almost fluorescent pink which flowers a full month and more before the true heather comes to life. It brightens up a very sparse landscape along with the thistles which the sheep don't eat. This was taken this afternoon, I hope you noticed the sky is blue too!!! Temps are still a bit low but it was so nice to see the sunshine.
Nice on black
