This morning I went back to Emma's adult family home and her caregiver had her dressed and up in a chair. I couldn't of been happier. We talked for a little bit. She knew who I was but was so weak. After about a half hour she fell asleep in her chair. I kissed her on the forehead and said good bye. She is now on hospice. I am so happy that we got a chance to visit.
Next Mike and I went to Washington Park and toured the rose gardens and then the zoo. After 3 pictures my battery went dead. And I forgot to bring an extra one.
I'm sure you all know the feeling when there are a 1000 good pictures to take and you have a dead battery. FRUSTRATING!!!!

So glad you went back because so often at this point many people prefer to wait for the funeral to say their good-byes. And the dead battery happened to me with my flash at a wedding Saturday.
