The specialist came in this morning after reviewing the cat scan. She said this evening they will give me some meds to help relax the urethra and hope it helps in passing the stones. One is large and is blocking the rest. If that doesn't work they said we may need surgery.
This afternoon my pain got out of control. I am not the kind of person to cry but I couldn't help it. I asked for some meds and the nurse left the room and I found out she went on break for her lunch. I honestly felt like I would rather die that feel the pain anymore.
She finally came and gave me some IV Dilaudid. The highest dose they could give. When it kicked in I went to the bathroom and passed 4 stones. 2 which were huge. I'm hoping the big one was the one that was blocking the others. Anyway I'm going to nap. I will see the Doctor tomorrow morning, they will have more info on what needs to be done. Pray no surgery please.
