~Frustrated~

I need to vent....
I think I said a stylist called me Monday and wanted to see the available space. I showed her and she loved it. She wanted to move in this weekend. I had an uneasy feeling about her and had mentioned it to some friends and family.
Well today the landlord asked if she could meet with me sometime today. I had no opening until 5:30 tonight. She came in and told me that this stylist wanted the place all to herself and said she would sign a lease but didn't want to share the space. I was shocked!!!! The landlord knows that I alone cannot pay the full rent, she knows my previous partner walked with 5 months of my money and left me holding the bag. And she is willing to let someone else swoop in and take over the building and I will then have to leave.
I have been in tears from total frustration. I have been a hard working excellent tenant for 32 years. I have never tried to undermine anyone and would give the shirt off my back for someone. HOW CAN PEOPLE BE LIKE THAT...
I am thinking of offering to sign a lease and do it alone. It will mean 2 weeks of my work will go to rent but it might just be worth it. I was thinking I could retire in 6 months and I want to say goodbye to my clients who have been there with me for the last 32 years and find a replacement for them. Please say a prayer she will let me sign a 6 month lease. I know the other person is offering a year lease but I hope she will see things my way and let me finish my career where I am at.
