Today we drove by city hall and the library. The lawns are filled with tents and the homeless. They are protesting that there isn't enough shelters for them. The mayor doesn't want them camping in the parks anymore so here they are. I think this article explains a small portion of what is going on.
They have had 82 + positive covid-19 tests from the homeless, They are using the lawn as their bathroom. Witnessed by my daughter in law who works across the street. They county employees are being threatened when they leave so now they need to be escorted to their cars. My pictures on show a small portion of what is happening.
I have tried year after year to help the homeless but this is getting out of hand.
Last year my Granddaughter's high school let them stay, they caused 1 million dollars damage to the school.
