Today Mike and I drove around before our predicted snow.
We grew up in Bellingham. It was a small and beautiful town of maybe 35.000. Now it is approx. 140.000
The growth is good for some people but to us it's sad seeing it grow and get run down. We had a really nice downtown and it was the only place to shop. When the malls went in the downtown almost closed down..
In the last 2 years the homeless and drug addicts have overtaken downtown and many areas around here.

Don't get me wrong we have a lot of beautiful areas as well.

Some cool looking graffiti in there, maybe? I am sorry. I understand what you’re saying and relate. We live somewhere where it’s always been growing but it has boomed since about 10 years ago… and now, it’s crazy. We’re sad that the growth has happened exponentially over these past few years.
