.....Cornish because they were made by Fosters Pottery, which was a very successful business up until around the 1980's. based in the Redruth/Scorrier area it employed many local craftspeople. The pottery produced this 'speckled' pattern with came in several colours as well as these two and they produced 'tourist' items too. We also have a very large population of seals who live around our lovely coast !
