Royal Poinciana by danette

Royal Poinciana

I figured I should get a shot in before the blooms fade.
I love the softness here! Beautiful colors, details and framing! Excellent capture, Danette!

The red against the green is so beautiful. Has a holiday tropical feel to it.

A very good idea - to preserve such a nice blossom of a tree. Nice composition.

@marlboromaam @tooki @purdey @anden I'm glad you all enjoyed the tree. I love them. This area of the town has a number planted in a row, but there are other objects interfering with a great photo. I just learned the other day it is also known as a Cracker tree because it blooms in May/June, rewarding the natives for staying during the summer! The trees were probably not as prolific this year, but pretty none-the-less.
