Great symbolism Danette!! The palm trees remind me of Jesus' ride into Jerusalem on the back of a foal while the people lined the streets with palm branches as they sang, "Hosanna to the Son of David!" "Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!" "Hosanna in the highest!" And 5 days later they crucified Him.
@clmiller Thanks, Caren! We have these beautiful date palms in the breezeway and I thought that would be appropriate framing. My other option was to leave the service at sunset to see what I could capture, but I liked this.
