@gailmmeek Thanks, Gail. We don't get fog much and it was much thicker out in the Everglades. It even stayed past when we left after 9. It was a nice experience.
@skipt07 It's actually one of my favorite places. It's the levy, so it sits about the swampy areas. This photo is taken below the levy, near the highway. It is actually just down the way from our church and they use our church as a gathering spot. The location is generally fenced off, but I will sometimes "sneak" in near sunset. I love it there. We run straight out and then back. Any gators should be well below us.
@danette - The link worked fine! It looks like a beautiful area. I've been to Florida only one time. That when I was flying from Pittsburgh to Augusta, Georgia. We landed at a small airport in Florida to change planes for the flight to Georgia. I will make my second trip in June to watch my oldest granddaughter graduate from high school. Maybe I'll get a better feel for the Sunshine State.
@skipt07 I think I read where they live in Panama City? The panhandle is so different than S. Florida. I have only been to that area once, but not Panama City. It's an8 hour drive just to Tallahassee! A client of mine lives in Pensaocola and I think it takes her about 11 hours to get her.
