We traveled through the bustling metropolis of Bartow, Florida (what, you've never heard of it?) to see the historical area. We were impressed with the old courthouse that has been transitioned to a museum, mostly of the Civil War. Much of what they have within the museum has to do with this area and the people of the county. Our Agriculture Commissioner is from this town. In all my years living in Florida, I have never been to Bartow! It's a sleepy little agricultural town with citrus groves and citrus processing plants nearby.
It was a very gray day, so this is looking like a b/w shot.
Love the perspective. Perfect composition of this historical landmark. I remember from the 70s or 80s, that the oldest person in the USA lived in Bartow. Wonder if he's still living.....LOL!
