Half the sky was gray, half the sky was blue. Representative of my life right now...my dad is quite ill and not sure if he will recover. One day at a time. Thus my absence.
Awesome capture of this sky. I was in Weston today and witness it... which is close from you. I'm sorry about your father illness and my prayers for the best outcome to his situation. I know you are very close to God and that is so important in these difficult moments. Hugs to you for your strength.
Sad that your Dad isn't well... saying a prayer for God to watch over him, to give you strength ... take all the time you need. This photo is truly one of thirds...
Bless you for taking the chance to post a photo. To hear of your father's illness is very sad and I hope your family are there to support you at this difficult time.
Danette, I am so sorry to hear about your dad. He is in my prayers as well as you and your family. This is always such a tough uncertain time to go through. Your photo so illustrates that....beautiful shot.
I am sorry to hear about your dad, Danette. May God's presence comfort both him and you during this time. And your sky shot is very cool and metaphorical.
Danette, I'm so so sorry. I've been away from this site since January, and I'm glad I came back when I did. Your kind words helped to lift me up last August. I was raised Unitarian, which many people think is a cop-out religion, but in fact it's quite the opposite, as I honor the common bond amongst all faiths. Knowing how spiritual you are, and knowing you were praying at the moment you read about what what I was going through with my dad—even though you never said it explicitly—meant a lot to me.
Please know that you're very much in my thoughts, and that this rite of passage, as painful as it is, has its beauty.
