Our church held a "Serve the City" today, whereby thousands of volunteers go to various projects and help out with anything from feeding the homeless to repair projects. I'm usually the photographer wherever I go. Today, I went to God's Little Acres in Coconut Creek, FL. They have several acres of farmland (surrounded by the "city") with horses, dogs, cats and this one Emu! 25 people helped repair fences, roofs and do a general clean up. God's Little Acres provides a respite for families with special needs children, all without cost to the family. Check them out!
