Saturday was my son's wedding day. Since our hired photographer was at the venue with the bride, I was tasked with taking shots of the groomsmen. Wow, that was like herding cats. Everyone was running late and we had about 3 minutes in the lobby to take a few group shots. I had taken some of them getting ready but we needed group shots! By the time I got to the venue, I was frazzled. Mother-of-the-groom does not pair well with photographer.

Congratulations on your son getting married. Great fun capture. When my son got married he prohibited me to take pictures, he said that wasn't the role of the mother. It was very hard for me, but I'm glad he did.
@anazad511 Fortunately, I only handled the groomsmen prior to the wedding. My friend had my camera hidden from me afterwards. The groomsmen were just at a different location than the photographer, so my son asked me to fill in. The bride's uncle took as many shots as the hired photographer. He literally spent the entire wedding taking photos. I say leave it to the professionals!
I LOVE the camaraderie these days that the groomsmen think of something fun alike! What fun that must have been for you (Cat-Herder that you are!) to be witness to your son's antics and with all his friends in the circle! Good memories!
