I think this is a very pretty shot - the dof is perfect, the light and colors are great. I totally emapthize about lack of inspiration as I am going through the same thing. FAV
Lack of inspiration. I'm dragging, dragging, dragging these days. How was the wedding? I loved the before photos you took! For this photo, my eye is drawn to the crisp focus of the flower and the beautiful bokeh in the back right. The front area out of focus distracts slightly, so if you have another opportunity, I might try to approach it above to get more in focus but use the same dof to get that bokeh effect. Might interfere with lighting, though. It's a beauty and your settings are perfect. :)
@darylo The wedding was wonderful. Sunny day. Outside by the golf course. I am sure the rest of the photos will be amazing. I am thankful I only took the groomsmen shots. They were a trip! It didn't help that we were running about 45 minutes behind when we said we'd meet. Funny how your wedding date is so close to theirs. :-) Thanks, too, for the excellent feedback. I have issues with my camera and focus and since there are a number of things to focus on, you are quite helpful! The plant is in my backyard, so there will be other opportunities. I also took about 6 yesterday and was waffling about which one to choose!
