Cell phone shot of my mom and my grandson. We had him for the day as he had a double ear infection. My youngest son and wife came to visit for the weekend, so I took off a day. My mom looks great, doesn't she? She's about to start chemo. :-( I am sooo sad.
I am sorry your mom has to go through chemo. I just saw an article that was about blueberries helping during cancer treatment...check it out because I do not remember the details. I hope it goes well for her.
You can tell your little guy doesn’t feel good. He’s so sweet. I’m so sorry about your mom’s upcoming chemo treatments, I hope they help her. I know she is so glad to have your love and support, Danette.
So you have opportunities for that fading family foto opp: four generations. With so many kids not starting families till their thirties, grandparents are not seeing their grandkids have children. Your mom looks good! My dad went through many rounds of chemo. One more diagnosis of cancer and the prospect of more chemo and he decided he'd had enough and was ready to join Mom after 22 years without her. You and your mom have some tough days ahead, but apparently she's decided it's worth it, so stick with her!
Today we attended the funeral of a long-time member of our church and church staff. She was 95½ (45 years as a widow), a two-time cancer survivor, and active until just a couple/few months ago. It was one of the most upbeat funerals I've ever had the privilege to attend. So stick by Mom; who knows how many great years she has left!
Sweet capture. You mom looks to be a very up best oerson. That will definitely help her during her upcoming chemo treatment. Chemo is not nearly as bad as it was years ago. Staying positive is very important. She is very lucky to have your family support.
What a sweet baby and your Mom does look she has a cheerful attitude, which will definitely help get her through chemo. Sending good thoughts for you and your Mom.
Best of luck to your mom and her chemo. She must be enjoying the heck out of her great grandson. (As must you.) But as I recall toddlers with ear infections aren't always picnic to care for. Both your mom and grandson looks great. Must be strong bloodlines.
