The Seminole Indian Tribe bought out the Hard Rock a number of years ago. I am sure this must be their home base, since this is their largest reservation. When I was a little girl, I recall my mom taking me to their reservation and shop for Seminole dolls in their teepee. The teepee is no longer there and their sovereign land seems to be larger. This complex is massive. They are building a huge hotel in the shape of a guitar that will open later this year. The model of the grounds are on the right of the photo. We spent a little time at their pool side café enjoying lunch.
@louannwarren I am glad that most of the tribes have been very successful with gambling. When I grew up, the Seminole tribe was quite poor. With gambling, they bough the Hard Rock business for nearly $1 billion back in 2006. My husband's best friend taught gaming to tribes for years.
