Evening Bike

I have lost so much photomojo because I'm struggling to get a grip on my camera before my big trip. Nothing like feeling like a lousy photographer when the trip is about photography...
Cool lighting. You will do great on your trip. You will be so inspired!

@danette if I can get anything in focus. New camera is a beast! And zoom is not working again. So I'm out a major.lens. stopped up in me again today. :(

Better to know all that now, at least.

With fresh things to photograph, your phojo will come back with a vengeance!

Love the composition and shadows from the bike

Relaaaaaaaaax! It'll all be good! ;)

@juliedduncan It's so hard honestly. I have never read a manual, but I've read mine a bunch. There is no "sport mode" button like on my Rebel. I just want to know how to configure a "sport mode" a "landscape mode" and a "walk about" mode. Will get there. The zoom going out on me is a big hit. :( But yes, it is what it is and it will all be good. :)

Chill, chill and enjoy, then chill some more!

Love this! And I'm with Rita - Chill! Relax and then chill some more!!

@barneyone @susanalena my family would laugh. Chill is not a word anyone associates with me. I do chill when I get somewhere but never before. If I could be an animal it would definitely be a squirrel hahahahahaha

A photo holiday or a fun and exploring holiday with camera coming along? Don't worry so much. Your photos are great, you'll have a ball. And new scenery and culture is always conducive to phojo.

@888rachel the phojo is at all time low because I don't feel like I'm getting shots as crisp as I should, and the ISO noise on my new camera is really bugging me! I was hoping for a much higher zone. But then again, I'm really not sure what I'm doing with the camera. I'll have my point and shoot for backup! haha!

@darylo is it worth taking your older camera? Not sure what you had before. And the point and shoot is definitely good for a backup

No mojo, and you post something this good? You have really captured the long shadows so well and made them work for you in an excellent way, using the lines of the shadow, the bike rider and the markings on the parking lot to get strong diagonals across the frame. Clever shot.
