How wonderful for your daughters to get their photo taken with them! I saw the Globetrotters when I was quite young when they were touring the UK - many many years ago! Probably this team's grandfathers! Lol! Great capture!
@pamknowler Three generations of my family have seen the Globetrotters not, and I saw them when the famous Meadowlark Lemon was playing (he is recently deceased). The Globetrotters are 90 years old! My brother (on the left) is the current President of the organization. I was so star struck when I met the team! @grammyn a great memory for everyone!
@darylo I was trying to remember the really famous player I saw and it was Meadowlark Lemon! I did have the program from the evening- I used to save all programmes when I went to the theatre etc. I think I got rid of them all when my sister moved in with me 2,years ago. What a shame I haven't still got it! I will check tomorrow just in case I kept it. Lovely memories!
