Today, Mike and I attended a Folk Art Auction with the hope we could bid on a work by a certain artist Mike likes (he's turning 50, and this is his gift -- one of them). But we failed. It was so anxiety producing. Next time.
The auction was next to the rail line that goes through the town of Buford, GA. I didn't have my camera, but I pulled out my phone and went to work.
Next gift...virtual reality thing with Playstation. Art is more my thing, but he's supposed to get both.
Oh, and we had lunch at "Praise the Lard BBQ" which was very good. Just had to get over the fact the chef was walking around with his gun holstered.
