Well, it's after midnight, so I'm posting on my birthday a photo I took last night (a few hours ago really) with what is going to be "like" my new lens (currently on its way from B&H). A friend of mine has a 24-70 lens she let me borrow for my cousin's visit. I will get the Tamron version to save some money, but I'm very excited to add a quality lens to my collection. It's HEAVY, which is a concern for my back, but for now, I'm pleased to see what new adventures lie ahead for me.
