@eyesmile Thanks. I'm actually avoiding cleaning up before my father and his friend get here, but I must go get things in order! He wants to come see my hummingbirds visiting the feeder. It's rainy out, but I've seen some there. Fingers crossed he'll get a view of some birds! Have a great day!
This is great too!! I forget about Picmonkey. I kind of stopped using it when they added the crown or special membership. Most of my favorites now cost money . . .
@mothervic Thanks Annette! I first took a selfie photo with a trashbag surrounding my head (like a scarf or garment) and took the shot against my dayglow greenish/yellowy wall in my kitchen. I uploaded it and then went to Picmonkey to edit some more (oh, I forgot, I edited it some for clarity, etc. in Lightroom first, but nothing major that any free editing program can't do). In Picmonkey, there is a feature called "bricks" to add in as a layer on top of my photo--which gave it this effect. Picmonkey is part of the ACE membership if you have that (don't remember if you do)--you can also use Picmonkey online at picmonkey.com. Anyway, it was a fun way to play with a pretty bad photo! :)
