Clone and Heal by darylo

Clone and Heal

Just an experiment in removing some things from the line along the grass (in particular a bush ). I have bought a book on LR5, but I didn't look this up yet, so I'm sure there was a better process. I first went for heal and then cloned to finish the left corner. My eye does not see the imperfections so far.
Edward Weston eat your heart out! Love it. Fav.

Nice shot. Great attempt at removing something but I can detect where it was but only because I have gone through the same pain in the past and have had to learn small tricks to remove things without leaving the tell tale signs.

@steampowered I would think I could never trick your eye! I'm glad I'm trying some of this now. I finally bought a LR5 book, and I'm going to start reading it for tips and tricks. I have to stop taking everything on as an experiment.

Love the composition and the "erasing" looks good!

@seanoneill haha, you know, I'm trying to be Sean O'Neill! I mentioned you in my other shot in the 365 album yesterday because your work inspires me. I envy your wide open spaces (and your bw processing).

@steampowered oh, that was a gem of a video! I had not figured out how to hide the first edits and reset without losing all the work I did successfully. You are a dear.

@darylo My pleasure. There are plenty more videos on Youtube that you may find useful.

Smashing. You might be inspired by @seanoneill , but this is definitely a different style. Love it. Fav

I think you did a great job! BTW, I joined kelbyone.com and they have tons of videos that have been immensely helpful in all areas.

@danette thanks. I bought his book. Videos are great but sometimes I need a paper source.

@steampowered yes. I've watched a bunch so far and I just got a book. Now, to find the time. Thanks again.

So pretty

@darylo Ah! Time... I can't help you there :o))

The mottled sky is perfect for this strong silhouette. Great job. I agree with needing a "paper source". Videos take too long and are too hard to find specific sections.
