Perennials by darylo

Perennials

Forgot what this is called, but we planted it near the end of the season last year, and guess what? The plant came back. You'd think I would think that was normal, but trust me, it's not. I'm a horrible gardner, but all perennials made it back this year.

Now, please, one of you dear flower 365ers, do me a favor and tell me what Perennial I have because I lost the plastic identifier I should have stuck in the ground!--aha! Foxglove! Whew, so glad I know now.

Thought this would make a nice diptych. :)
Gosh that is purty. Love the color! And I do not know what it is. Sorry!

I have no idea what it is other than a plant, but I love it in B&W

Beautiful in both B&W and color, Daryl. And it is foxglove!

@aerjoseph @seanoneill @vignouse Yes, that's it! I could not remember for the life of me but the name rings a bell. Thanks and merci!

@grammyn Katy, I keep saying, LOOK, LOOK! THE FLOWERS CAME BACK, and everyone else rolls their eyes at me and sighs (and does NOT look). Birds, bugs, and flowers, what can I do? I'm smitten.

@darylo LOL! So funny that you get so excited! Let them go to seed and they should come back every year! I am so happy for your success, Daryl

Beautiful flower!

@grammyn the kids or the flowers (go to seed) hahahahaha!

Foxgloves are so easy to let grow in your garden - they seed well and are hardy. I like the tall form of them.

They are so vibrant and pretty, I can't decide if I like the b&w best for showing up those patterns, or the colour one to show the vibrancy.

Love them!

Gorgeous shot, Daryl! I had to laugh at your enthusiasm because it mirrors my own. I am SO excited to see green and growing things again. Other people are like, "Meh". :)

Definitely foxglove ... they grow wild in bonnie Scotland! Something about them is poisonous too, I believe, so let's be careful out there! Lovely shots, both versions!
