Spittle bug -- what it turns into!

The other day, I posted my Macro shot for ONS8 on the left. When I went to look up the bug for info (just for personal interest), I saw that the adult version is the bug on the right (which I had taken on my pineapple balm the same day). Turns out a took a macro of the same bug (just at different stages). Thought I'd share! Spittle bug turns into a Froghopper! Cooooooool.

Well this is super cool. I have never actually seen the BUG in the spittle! haha Did you have to move the bubbles to see it? And...I just was playing with the adult version of this thing yesterday. I shot a pic or two and a short video. So THAT is a spittle bug adult? Whew! Now I know! thanks

We used to have all this spittle stuff over the plants when we lived in the country! I never looked for the bug! Wow!
