I chased bees yesterday. Note: it does not take a first attempt to get clear shots of any bees, but using AI servo is a really great tool when focusing on subjects that decide to move quickly before you can reset! Also, remember to have your fast shutter going (sport mode can work too) so you can get repeating shots quickly. Depending on your camera (the one I use right now can get 10 frames per second--very fast), you might not be able to have such quick shots, and you may find your camera does what we call buffering. I call it huffing and puffing because it can't keep up with all the shots you want to take successfully--so your camera may slow down. You just have to give it a rest, and it will go again. Rather pleased with these shots. VERY CROPPED BTW. And I did apply a radial filter on the bee body as it was not as clear (the yellow in particular), so I upped the clarity and shadows mostly! Hope this helps. Feel free to ask any questions.
