How did Katie Pelinka and I honor what would have been Thom Burrell's 64th birthday? Our tradition...go to Dunn Bros. to have some coffee (his favorite beverage), do a couple of crossword puzzles (his favorite activity over coffee), and
then give what would have been part of his birthday presents (a coffee gift card) to some unsuspecting patron. This year was perfect...this gentleman was sitting in Thom's favorite chair, working on his computer (never far from Thom since he was a software developer), and about Thom's age. And he was a good sport about having his picture taken.....yea!!
