I'm not a fan of the 3 big holidays - Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter. It was more enjoyable while raising the girls, but since I'm a single senior, I don't have the same interest. You can imagine my delight when the church decided to have a one-hour Christmas in July worship service since we couldn't be together in person last December. It's all coming out...Christmas trees, candles, presents, cookies, flowers, decorations, mangers, kids dressed in costumes, etc. I dislike fighting with lights when it's part of a season....REALLY dislike it when it's for 1 hour. And I don't care how much you make it look like Christmas...when it's 90 degrees outside it just doesn't feel like Christmas.
