another world by dianeburns

another world

this is an old pot that had miniature cacti plants that has seen better days, it is located in a part of the garden I don't venture to often, but to my surprise when looked at close up it is truly another world.

A pretty but scary world! Is that a black hole about to gobble me up?!

@claireuk It's actually a little gum nut Claire!
May 7th, 2014
@dianeburns Nope! What is a gum nut? Whole continent between us:0)

@claireuk It's a hard woody part that is left after the gum tree flowers, I just looked up apparently they are edible by some animals. If you had time you could look at images on the net. I forget sometimes people don't know what I'm talking about!! lol It's like I'm from another world myself sometimes!

@dianeburns Oh yes, been there done that, with regard to trees in the UK, very easy to forget this is the world wide web:0))
