Ok so there's a cute story to go with pictures from this marshy area.. I drove up and realized I was on top of a hill looking down.. and decided to get better shot I needed to go through the few trees and bushes and climb down this hill... you know where this is going I'm sure.. lol Anyhow.. I started to climb down and had a walking stick I found.. The ground was wet and muddy with leaves. Down I went first landed on my right hip and slid till I rolled over the left hip all the way down to the bottom in a heap.. about 15 feet but I was soooo wet since it was rainy and there was snow..
OF COURSE.. I made sure my camera came out of this untouched. lol I do have my priorities. :-)
Oh my goodness my dear! I hope your hip is ok! And I had to laugh cause I did something similar once and the first thing I did was check my camera!! Hahaha our dedication to photography :) hehe what a lovely shot this is though! All the snow and wild grass and frozen water. Very gorgeous! :) Super shot!
Very true I'm dedicated.. lol I love my camera, and yes my hip is fine...It was a soft landing overall and a slow motion uncontrolled slide.. My heart was beating like crazy though.. ha ha...
Oh no! LOL! That's hilarious and yes, who cares what state we end up in as long as the camera's ok? I think this was worth it. What a neat looking spot. I like how it gets a little hazy toward the back. What great atmosphere!
