The Fallen

Even in varying degrees of decay, nature holds a special sense of beauty. During yesterday's hike, everything was going along so well, and then we came upon this fork in the road. LOL, not really. It was off to the side, but I liked how it looked.

LOL. Fork in the tree! My neighbor with the woods just lets fallen trees alone too. The first time I saw one fall, I called him. He came out, looked at it and went back in the house.
