Hooked On Owls

I thought I would share some of Josie's artwork. This is a large hooked rug she had completed before we were married, it measures about 24 x 36 inches. For our first Christmas together I had it framed for her. That makes this piece about 44 years old .

Owls were a very popular subject- my cousin did a rug of an owl for my first son when he was born. But hers was orange!
