Hi, I have put one on the wall, it was one of the first WOW photos I took and so I wanted to display it. I'm now planning on putting a few of my favourites on display. Got the frames, now just gotta print the pix :)
Our guestroom has become my "gallery". Plus there are a couple more of my prints in our hallway. We have some older film prints in our bedroom.
Here is a pic of our guestroom with a couple of my pics showing on the wall. There are more, but just not in this view.
Not yet. But I did two collages on canvas for family members. One of the grandkids for Grandma and Grandpa. And one of NYC pics from a visit with my brother. Nothing Michael Elliott NYC worthy, :) but just some that he loved.
And haven't been to the homes yet since they got them to see them displayed. :) Soon though.
I have several photos hanging on my walls that I took. Nothing like the inspiration mentioned by Joseph P. Mine are framed and hanging in random places. One of my girls at two walking on the beach is in their hall, a flag & rainbow shot framed in my study, a B&W shot of my other daughter in a ballet costume, and tons matted and in clearbags that I have entered in the fair photographic exhibits over the years.
I actually put them up in my office across from my desk. I get to share my work and enjoy it at the same time. This is one of the photos I have hung which was my reward for finishing a year of the project. It is a great conversation piece also.
I have a few of my photos on the walls at home, but they were all pre 365. I was really happy with the photo I took yesterday, so have ordered in a canvas print, and it will definitely be going on a wall!!
My daughter framed a picture of mine for me for Mother's day that hangs in my den but I have not hung any on my own. I recently framed a print and also had a canvas print of one of my pictures made to donate to an auction for a fundraising dinner. I was very pleased at the $$ amount they raised and happy that someone liked them enough to hang them in their homes.
My room has 2 sides of empty white wall that im planning to put photos in.
I kinda want to put frames on it like the ones you see in the street vendors of NYC. I think it's cheap if bought in wholesale.. but I still kinda thinking about the materials. It would be my project before the year ends.
I have a whole bunch of small prints in my hallway but last year for christmas hubby got me two of my photos printed onto canvas, here is one in our front room which I just love. We are hoping to get more printed and want to have a dedicated wall with a bunch more printed large like this.
most walls in my house have framed photos on display - when I was working overseas the picture framing was super cheap and I got a lot done, every time I walk around my house I get to remember all the wonderful places I have been to around the world. There are even more in the lounge room, but the room is just so messy I was ashamed to share that shot ;-) These shots are not great, just quick shots to share my walls - I probably should have waited until tomorrow to get more light and played around with white balance .....
I just had two of my photos made into 16x20 canvases and I’ve made an arrangement on my family room wall. I’ll try to get a photo of it today and post it.
I have 6 shots printed onto 30cm x 30cm canvas and I hang them in 2x3 formation. Its a bright collection of 3 flower shots and 3 bird shots from my 3 years spent in Papua New Guinea. The colours are massive and unfortunately everytime I have new visitors to the house, and I kinda drop the hint that I took the photos, everyone says "Oh they're fantastic, but I didn't say anything because I thought a professional had taken the shots"...
I would post a pic, but I still have one to post as part of my project and that would be spoiling the fun for my followers.
I go a slightly different route...I have Apple TV, and in a folder on my Mac, I have some of my favorite photos. I stream it to my flat screen TV through my Apple TV system, and it does a nice screenshow, while I'm streaming music from my iTunes library. It's a nice conversation piece when I have company over, since they all know I'm that crazy lady with a camera now...!
Its my version of those new picture frames that rotate your photos.
@cheribug easymoza.com where you upload all you need, and then can buy a large jpg of it for about $8. I then went to canvaspop and had it printed on canvas.
@bobfoto Jason you should see my son Callum's bedroom! Now that is patriotic, huge Union Jack canvas on one wall, union jack bedding, union jack fleece blanket on his sofa and a wall papered with various london landmarks. lol
And I'm loving seeing what everyone has done with their artwork and their homes, a few ideas to maybe try out. :D

This group is well before my dSLR days in 2010:
This was from March 2011, and is a 16x20 mounted canvas. It turned out amazing.

@coolgirlsar - Good to hear that young Callum is proud of his country, should be more of it!
