Point And Shoot Bokeh

Bokeh is everywhere in 365Project land. But what about those of us who, sadly, have only a little point and shoot camera and not some super fabulous SLR? I came across this article ...

... and have high hopes that by the end of tonight I'll be a Bokeh Babe too!

Oww, I'll just ask it and will probably feel really stupid after your answer. Not being a native English speaker I have no idea of what Bokeh. Yet, I have been accused at times of having a nice bokeh x-)

Would someone be so kind to tell me what Bokeh is? I'm really curious now :-)

Essentially its the look of the light blur from shots with a lot of depth of field.

I used to confuse bokeh with depth of field itself but its more about how the light looks in the blurred area. Sort of..... i think. :o)

Thanks for the link, I've never known what Bokeh is either, and all I'm shooting with right now is a point and click, I'm too scared to move up yet.
