One Extremely Important Question That Is Ignored By Aspiring Food Photographers (and Why You Need to Address it Now)
I have always wondered "why" I take photos. But seriously, great thing to keep in mine when out with the camera. What does this photo mean to me and what is it telling someone else.
@byrdlip --- Yes, I agree. This question is a simple one yet sometimes very hard to answer.
This question is one we need to ask ourselves everytime we take pictures and everytime we choose what to post here. It doesn't really matter what the answer is to anyone but ourselves. We should be able to point to any of our pictures and know exactly why we took it.
Asking what we want to convey to someone else is more elusive and really takes practice. I guess that's where telling the story or making people think about the image comes into play. It's a continual learning process.
