putting your pics to music

Sometimes when I am reviewing some of my captured moments a song will pop into my head and it completely goes with this picture..has that ever happened to you? You look at one of your prized possessions and you start singing a song. Well even if you haven't take a look at your masterpieces and pick one that you could put a song to. I like to try and match the mood of the photo to the mood of the music, done just so can be a rewarding satisfying moment that you get to keep all to yourself OR share :D...what do you say? wanna have a go?

Many people have added lyrics to thie photos. Often, I have to just read them as poetry as I might not be familiar with the song. I get a kick out of it if someone adds a youtube song (I've done that myself when it fit)...often that brings back a good memory. I've seen an upswing in additional links in recent months and find them a wonderful addition.

There are a couple of people on the project that name a "song of the day" that goes along with their pics. It's fun to read their stories, then see the song the picked. "Just Chris" is one of those that uses music.

I've thought about it. If the mood ever strikes me, I wouldn't hesitate to name a song with my pic. I think it's a good idea, so I'll give it a go (if I remember to do it).

Quite a few of my shots are from gigs or rehearsals, so there's a natural "soundtrack" there anyway...

If you've had a hot summer day, I recommend Ed's music video!

I try to remember to put a "Today's song" on my posts. They sometimes are inspired by the photo, sometimes just a song I heard that day and even some are reflections of my mood in general.

I've seen some people here that post lyrics on a regular basis too.
