Nice work my man, nice work. I think you need to increase your F stop as parts of the smoke are out of focus, but other than that I think it is a great shot. Well done.
Very nice, although as @agima said you need to increase the aperture from f/5.0 to something like f/8 to make sure you get all the smoke crisp clean. Maybe you'll have to increase your ISO though =/

I think I've found the trick to smoke shots is the lighting, couple bright flashes work great. For this one I used a cigar, focused on the front of the cigar then panned up just a bit to remove cigar from shot.... took about 50 or so shots and picked the best of what I had. The smoke will twist and turn all on its own with just a slight amount of breeze or none at all. Too much wind and you will get nothing. Best done in a garage in my opinion (unless smoking is allowed in the home) Color was added in post as I'm sure most of you figured out.
