For those of you who have been following my monarch caterpillar and butterfly pictures, my blog is now complete. Thank you so much for all of the wonderful comments on my picture. This is what I live for during the summer months. The monarchs are endangered so I have a butterfly garden and try to raise as many as I can over the summer. I started blogging about it back in 2007. Each year I say it is my last blog but then I do it all again LOL. My goal is to get people excited about the monarch and it's wonderful metamorphosis so that perhaps they will also want to plant milkweed and watch this wonderful process in person.
I never knew I'd find excitement in following the life story of a catapiller to butterfly. You really personalized Doodle's life, and I have a new respect on so many levels. I know, while you love doing this, it takes time and dedication...thank you for helping make our world a prettier place!
Thank you everyone! Today has been such a busy day that I haven't had time to comment on anyones pictures or come back here and reply!
I am always so happy to share the blog and get other people interested in helping the monarch. I run a garden exchange group and I've shared milkweed with quite a few people in my group and at my work.
Happy to hear people enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy creating it!
I missed this before now!? Too bad. It would have been fun to follow it in real time. Nonetheless, I loved glancing at the whole blog. Very interesting indeed.

I got a really cool bumper sticker from my SIL for Christmas. It says "Got Milkweed?".
