I have taken many many pictures as have most of you that are part of this great project. But I have one photo that I am very pleased with. I took it in 1996 and just came across it a couple days ago. I scanned it to the computer so as to brag about it a little. It was with a film camera tripod of course, telephoto lens, other stats I am not sure of. Maybe I could say (lucky shot) never the less, it is mine, and proud of it.
@rrt That's incredible! Did you see the discussion the other day where someone listed all the "starry" events happening this year? I bookmarked the link, but on the laptop, so will post it for you when I'm next on it.
@rrt Wow! Amazing shot. Definitely something to be extremely proud of.
For me, it is this one because my son is actually looking at the camera and is in focus. He is not normally the most cooperative subject!! Loved it so much that I used it on our Christmas cards this year.
This is my all-time favorite photo and the one that gave me chills when I saw the final processing. I love it when a photo comes together and you know you've done something spectacular with it. Of course, the emotion that goes with the photo had something to do with it being special. This is the flag that flew for days over Ground Zero after the attack on the Twin Towers in NY on September 11. The grime on the flag is ash from the fires and debris, and likely contains ash from those whose lives were taken in this senseless attack.
This is a photo I didn't actually take myself but it is of a proud moment for me. My boys and I after the birth of my littlest. I am proud because I have had 3 drug free natural births.
Photographically, it is probably this one as it sent me on a new direction
I thnk I'm proudest of my water shots, and my close ups. ~ I don't post much of my kids/family on here simply because its so public, so I can't really show them off! ~
I love this picture, i think its amazing and I'm really proud of it. ~ Then someone close to me said he liked it but it reminded him of something, well rude. And now I don't look at it the same and that kind of annoys me. ~
Another water shot~
Mainly for me~ I'm proud of myself, I've (in my opinion) gotten a lot better at taking interesting photographs that I enjoy and would happily hang in my house and I think thats the whole point of this project. ~
@rrt Are you for real??!! Do you even know what the afghanistan conflict is about??
Sorry, @kimmiesue but your hubby is why I unfollowed you even though I love your pics. I canNOT conscionably support the military of ANY country, but especially a global bully like the US! I pray that one day very soon, the people of the world will just start being NICE and holding hands! :-) The minute I popped out onto a planet with people who carry guns was my most UNproud moment....
@tabbycat ok, let me ask you this, If we were in a park and I was close enough to you to see you getting brutally raped would you want me to turn and look away or shoot the guy if I had a gun in my possesion?? Providing shooting him was the only alternitive??
My Marine hubby coming home from Afghanistan.
I didn't take these of course... I was the one on a rope 85ft up in the air. Raising close to £400 for a great charity made me proud :)
The day I turned 18
A swallow on a fence - taken on holiday last summer after several days of trying for just one good photo.
A red grouse one evening last year. Read the description to see why I am so p proud of it.
Twice:

@dejongddYes, this is done very nicely, to make a sad instance look elegant
great job.
Photographically, it is probably this one as it sent me on a new direction
And it just "happened" -- I didn't set it up or anything.
I took this of my son when he was lying on the couch. This was not set up, it just made for a good picture of him.
And my first attempt at a moon shot:
Oh and I can't leave out this little guy. I never thought i'd get a good shot at one of these, they're so hard to capture.

I think photography wise the following shot has to be my proudest moment. I could never envisage the attention that it would gain.
