Home is where the heart is...as they say.
I've moved around a bit over the last couple of years, including to a new country. But I love to settle in and find something special about each new place.
So show me what makes YOUR home special.
Here's mine.
Taken the day we moved into our new place a few months ago. Straight away I found the perfect spot to watch the world go by.
@joannebradbury I have only moved to this area 7 months ago , but it is Love , I love the countryside and the serenity and the stars. Could not imagine my home anywhere else now :)
The best thing about my home is that it gives me shelter....and the furniture and appliances are not getting wet everytime it rains (which is a lot, here in Seattle...lol)
This is my favorite room. Since our kitchen is a small, galley-style room, our dining room is the gathering place for family and friends. The room gets lots of light and a wood-burning fireplace (not shown) makes it cozy this time of year.
I love the stained glass windows on the landing between first and second floor.
My family makes home home. And not just my husband and our kids, but my entire family, mom, dad, brother, sister, in-laws and nieces and nephews, grandparents.
My backyard is shaded and is normally a really nice place to relax...as long as my dogs don't try to get in the way.
Here is my entryway.

Thanks. I really like your shot
This is going to be my home :) It is my new land which will be home once I build one :)

This is our front room, well a tiny corner of it.
And this (not from my project) is our dining room window looking out onto our back garden:
But no matter where I live home is wherever these three are:
