So it was a last year I took this picture and the spider in question has just made it on to our local news for biting someone and causing them to collapse..

In a sage plant in my front yard these babies had pretty much just hatched. That's mom (I think?) in the lower right corner.

Yes, i took that picture in São Paulo's botanical garden. The spiders have about 5 or 6 centimeters. Huge, but not immense.

My first creepy crawly was an unintentional capture, I was trying to get a macro shot of the flowers...
My second was a lucky shot in that the bee landed just before I focused and shot the pic!

Ok, here's mine!
A washed wasp.
