Lightroom 4 has been released...

For those of you that do not own lightroom

1) you are crazy as it is one of the best photo managment and quick editing tools around

2) you now have no reason not to as they have just released version 4. It is normally US$299 but now it is US$149 for the full version, (and only US$79 for the upgrade).

3) They have also brought the European in-line with US pricing

I think that's why I got such a good deal on Lightroom 3 last week - hald price on the student edition, making it £40. :-D

@agima When I used the beta version of LR 4 it wouldn't get my photo's off my Canon so I went back to 3, but only bought it a week ago, hope I get a free upgrade, and it works, LOL!

Love it! Had been using the Beta and I got approved last week to buy it with the Student/Teacher rate for $79. Deleted Picasa on my computer and using this strictly now.

Can't wait until payday Wednesday to get LR4 - I've been using the beta a bit, then went back LR3 and really missed the new controls. Some people might not find it much of an upgrade, but I sure do!
