Now, I live in the US, but I still think real football is the sport where you actually use your feet. Show me your soccer, fußball, futbol, and ummm...other pictures involving that sport. I am a huge Chelsea fan, but the only soccer/football picture from my project is of my brother.

No I really don't feel that strongly about sports lol...I probo like or dislike them all pretty equally, actually they all stemmed from the same sport! I don't get offended over the name of something being the same as the name of something else, there are lots of things like that. But hey if you feel that strongly about it then grudge away!

@mastermek Now that shot Mek is about ALL I ever get out of watching soccer; there are so many drama queens out there; it is just SO embarrassing to watch replays of "injuries" and the nonsense they do. I cringe just typing about it.
@tamsg4 Football as well as being the beautiful game, is an international language. Which, when right can unite people like no other sport. You should give it a go. Follow Leeds though!

Music is my international language!! I'll take a concert over a sport any day. Seriously it's hard for me to sit thru any sports BUT the last few years I've become more tolerant so you never know what I might grow into. Soccer has become more popular in the States, but it will never reach where basketball/baseball/football/hockey is here! Even with my newfound interest I only watch local teams *occasionally* and tho we do have a shiny new soccer field and a team here I've never seen them! Maybe I should go ;)
I do wish I were coming over for the Olympics tho, I've always watched anything Olympics related, shuffleboard, shooting...whatever. I'll watch it if it is on ;)

@svenskaflicka how can you not support a team that used to have the gorgeous David Beckham playing for them? ;-) But being a Brit living in the US, I hear you.......I miss the soccer, and will have to try and take some shots (pardon the pun) of my son playing the game :-)
